And it&#8217;s not just because we work more than half of our waking hours, but also due to the amount of time we spend <em>not doing<\/em> our actual job. We put in less time writing, creating, coding, designing, or whatever we&#8217;re good at than sitting in meetings, emailing, briefing and debriefing, giving feedback. All in all, we spend a lot of time doing everything we can so that, at the end of the day, the whole team is on the same page.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dJjKpErqbAU\" width=\"853\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>As much as we all <em>hate<\/em> wasting long hours in meetings or being interrupted, we must admit that for the left hand to know what the right hand is doing, we need to talk to one another.?Communicating about what we do at work is part of our job. And we need to transfer the right information, at the right time, to the right person.
