If I unwatch a topic, and then I watch it, will I see what has been happening in my absence?

What happens to all the conversations that went on during my “unwatch”/absence? Will I be able to read them?

When you decide to re-watch a topic, you will be able to see everything that has been discussed during your absence, by scrolling up.
However, while you were away, the owner of a topic may have decided to make a topic private, or even close it, and in that case you will not be able to re-join the conversation.
