I only get one sound notification or screen pop, and then have to reboot Hubgets in browser before getting a new one.

For  some  reason we're not being 'dinged'  on each instant message.  In fact, we have to close the browser and then reload the Hubgets page before getting  pushed a notification again.  Has anyone run into this?  Or can anyone suggest a possible cause/solution?
